BH Cosmetics highlighter brush and FOTD featuring Illamasqua products

Do you know the brand BH Cosmetics? No? A little while ago I didn't know them either, but I got curious and now I'm thankful I ventured into their realm. Now I own palettes, lipglosses, bases, brushes, brushrolls. And I love them all!

Here I'm showing you a great highlighter brush. Many use blush or overall brushes to apply highlighter, but personally I don't fancy this method. If you want soft features and achieve it fast then it's ok to use them, but I like my brushes to be precise. It's no problem for me to work longer for the finish. If you want sharply contoured face you can't run around with a huge powder or round blush brush, right? I hate long bristle brushes....they bend everywhere but where I want them. @_@

This highlighter brush is smaller than any blush brush but bigger than concealer brushes. I'd say its diameter is similar to the Sigma P84 Precision Angled brush (here), just the handle is shorter. The bristles look long, but they are packed tightly and pick up and place powder/creme/liquid nicely and precisely. *sigh*

It retails for USD 3.95 which is like whoaaaaaa!!!! and BH Cosmetics always has sales on their website. Like right now too! ;)

If seeing the price you think the quality sucks then let me assure you, it's gooooood!!!

Nothing special, I just felt like wearing something not so boring. It's summer, after all!

NARS Nail Polish

Wanted to start with a nice stock photo, but couldn't change the color in the bottle, only the sample dot.
I got this nail polish from Cosmetic-Candy in the color Rebel Yell.
You know, I don't like dark nail polishes, since my nails are short and crappy, and I munch on them a lot, so any long-wearing polish chips in 1-2 days most. No exception.
But a while ago I got some BarryM Nail Paints from Yinnie and I'm seriously in love with the purple one. Thus I'm learning applying dark colors.

Isn't this an awesome color???? I consider red nail colors BITCHY! Seriously! If you wear them, you're a slut in my book. Sorry! >.<
But this color is dark and brownish enough to fall out of the bitch red category!

Crappy photo skills unfolds! I did only one stroke. Never thought I'd post anything nail related....and here it is. Never say "never"! Oh well....
This swatch does not do justice. It's such a killer "witchy red"...oh sorry, pomegranate, that I LOVE it! *_*

I was able to apply only one coat without major streakiness! I! With my skills! However I was sceptycal with some nails, so I put on one more coat. There's no big difference  between 1 and 2 coats.

It also resisted chipping/fading quite well! I'm amazed! 2 days were no big deal for it.
I seriously think people who are able to keep nail polishes in perfect condition for a week or more never, ever touch their mouth @_@

Cosmetic-candy haul

Lookie what did I get?! I made a lil purchase at Cosmetic-Candy a while ago. There were sooo many awesome stuffs for sale (I wanted some NARS and Illamasqua candies), but most was already claimed and I run out of money becoz of a haul at Lancome and MAC. Well, I had to half my order, so I happened to buy a NARS nail polish (Rebel Yell) and Ettusais Acne Shooter Bag.

And I got some extras!^^ Candies! yummmmm, a free face cream sample from Organic Elements. I wanted to try this brand! YEY And two funny advertising material was included too!

Hah Love this brand ^_^

Love the pink bag! Will use it happily! It holds an Ac-Control Oil (the bigger green bottle), Medicated Acne Aqua Shooter Oil Control and Moisture Up (the 2 little bottles), and a Zero Pore Dry Block Pact (foundation sample? Haven't opened it yet) and a Whitening UV EX Dry Block sample with SPF24 PA+++
Now I just have to wait for pimples to appear on my face......#_#

See these cuties? *.* That lollipop is actually a pin you can remove from the paper^^

I'll be back with reviews soon!
