Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule

Lately I've accumulated quite a lot of Missha goods and now I'm gonna introduce you to one of my favourites: Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule.
Pheww...such a long name :)

I believe that skincare products benefict more during night when sleeping renews our body. Thus it's best to use your best skincare items before going to bed to add to the result.
Especially if the serum *ahem* ampoule is for nightly use.

One thing I dislike about Missha packaging is the box. They are so shiny that it's impossible to make good quality photos! Duh with ordinary photo equipment it's a pain in the a$$! Look at the photo above...not funny at all to read the ingredients like this...
Those who own DSLRs with all kind of lenses could care less. Not to mention the average consumers, ergo 99% of costumers. :D

What I do love about this packaging is the pipette! Not only the most hygenic way to use this liquid, but you can control the amount and it also makes you feel like using a luxurious, high quality product.

The liquid itself is deep yellow like amber. Does not irritate, dries or makes oily my dry and sensitive skin, and it absorbs fast. I follow it with night cream and/or sheet mask and that's it.

The promises: "The complete science behind beautiful skin. Use the essential Activator Ampoule on a daily basis to get smooth and firm, beautiful skin. It provides your skin with extra nutrients and moisture that you are not getting from basic skincare.
The Ampoule energizes, repairs, and restores elasticity. It also provides wrinkle repairing and whitening benefits.
Contains Fermented Bifida, Lactobacillus, and Lactococcus for improved, healthier skin. Bifida Ferment strengthens skin's barrier to prevent damage from harmful environmental factors. Lactobacillus Ferment contains Peptide and Vitamin B12 for improved, healthy skin condition. Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate has protective and antioxidant properties to moisturize and improve skin barrier."

It smooths and brightens my skin and i firmly believe that it helped removing the frown lines on my forehead.

I'm close to finish my second bottle and plan to purchase a lot more.
50ml costs 49USD, but it's best to wait for a sale on the MisshaUS site which happens several times a year.

Kenzoki Barefeet Fantasy Massage Balm

Part of my first Kenzoki haul done at the Warsaw duty free is the Barefeet Fantasy Massage Balm.
I wanted to try the brand yet not spend all my monthly wage at the airport so I went for a travel-size set, an eye cream and this foot  care. Picking the cheapest ones and having the most products possible to try....LOL

I've never used a foot massage balm before except the Avon/Oriflame YUCK heating/cooling gels/moisturizers which I found worse than unsatisfactory.
I know....we should care much more about our feet. They carry us all our lives and do the hard work yet we care next to nothing about them. No, nailpolish is not treating well your feet.

The SA told me this was a dream to use and highly recommended, but I was still sceptical. Any average SA would sing worshipping songs about a basket of crap just so you would buy it. In the end I thought it's not that expensive and I've never had an actual foot massage balm, why not try it. If I were to find it bad I would have still owned a Kenzoki balm, and that would have meant I had a great product! Duh! Stupid snobbish voice in my head....

Let's see its description: "Play footsy, voluptuously, alone or not, as the case may be. For beautiful feet or simply to feel good. A massage balm that nourishes, relaxes and repairs feet from ankle to toes. Cupuacu butter to intensely moisturize* tired feet. Shea butter to soothe busy dancing feet. And rice plant water , naturally rich in trace elements, essential oils and mineral salts. Massage in yourself or let it be done. Forget everything. Surrender to the soft scent of rice steam. Close your eyes and renew the experience with the other foot. *moisturizes the upper layers of the epidermis."

Now, let me point out that the * part is brilliant! Only with this small side note they earned my appreciation. Not many brands would put such a warning on their products. It's like having a wrinkle-filler claiming to fill up deep wrinkles yet missing the transferring ingredient getting it into the lower levels of your skin. The problematic zone is deeper than the upper levels of skin where the cream can soak in. In the end you keep on using it but hardly see any improvement. If any.
At the same time this note - however not saying out loud - implies that were you to use a lot of cream you would skate on slippery feet if walking right after massaging. Thus either use less - a little amount is quite enough - or stay in bed, put on socks, etc.

Ingredients
The scent is indeed something unfamiliar to me so I believe when they say it's rice steam :D It's pleasant so it adds to the experience.

Massaging your feet with this balm is dreamlike: easy, pleasant, refreshing.
While indulging you know that you thoroughly loved your feet and they will thank you later.
Not to mention they are soft and smooth! ^.^

My only problem is the cap. It's your average twist cap with an actual twist. The top and bottom are connecting not in a vertical but slanted line and it gives me a headache every time to get the right point to start screwing. Maybe it's an individual fault or bad design, I don't know.

All in all, I'd make it mandatory to have this in each household but all I can do is say : GO AND BUY IT!

Ok, it's not easy to find but you'll be grateful *ahem*to me*ahem*

This 80g of fantasy sells for £18 or  €24. Sorry, I don't know the price in dollar >.< Getting a hold of the Kenzoki line is not an easy task.

Lush scrubs

Well, the two cleansers or scrubs by Lush about I'm sharing my opinion are nothing new or special. Actually, everyone knows them well: Angels on bare skin and Dark angels.
Dooh I'm so predictable.
When I first went into a Lush store at home I wanted something trustworty that proved to work for everyone (& I mean bloggers) coz you know, Lush stuffs are not the cheapest things ever, I didn't want to spend my money on something I've never heard about, probably my skin wouldn't like it, etc. etc.
So I picked these things up and I'm glad I did.

First, let me confess that I'm operating with stock photos, coz
1) I'm all out of Angels on bare skin, and when I still had it I was too lazy to take pictures,
2) Dark angels looks gross and shapeless in its plastic jar, there's no point trying to photograph it,
3) the stock photos look great hehehe

Angels on bare skin

Ingredients: Ground Almonds, Glycerine, Kaolin, Water, Lavender Oil, Rose Absolute, Chamomile Blue Oil, Tagetes Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Lavender Flowers, Limonene, Linalool

It even looks yummy, right? I really-really loved AoBS, during winter it was heaven! It cleansed my super dry and easily irritated skin well, it felt nice, not scratchy at all. The scent was something super...maybe it was the almond in it or God knows what, anyway, I miss it so much! Unlike for winter, I found this to be not suitable for summer. For the hot summer months I need something stronger.
Too bad Lush is not available in Georgia. *sniff*

Dark Angels

Ingredients: Rhassoul Mud, Organic Cold Pressed Avocado Oil, Glycerine, Powdered Charcoal, Black Sugar, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Perfume, Linalool, Sandalwood Oil, Rosewood Oil

Looks so evil, doesn't it? :) Its name fits well! :)

This one I use during summer or when my skin is oilier than usually and I like this one too. However, it's harsher than the soft Angels on bare skin, actually it's scratch thanks to the black sugar, but it works well. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that I have to work double, coz the charcoal is not that easy to wash off of the sink or the shower tub. hehehehe

All in all, I think Angels on bare skin and Dark angels would be a good pairing for those who have dry skin with oily T-zone and the oiliness swithes to overload during summer.

Yves Rocher Hydra Specific Soft Foam Cleanser

I haven't given up on Yves Rocher yet. However, I do want to, coz their skincare is not good enough IMHO, but I keep giving them another chance...

My latest "let's give them another chance" haul ended up with a try-out kit with three mini products for ~5 dollars (review to come) and this foam cleanser. And you know what? First time I went shopping in Georgia I had to realize that Yves Rocher is present here too! OMG this must be an omen or something.....@.@

Anyway, you might know that foam cleansers are extremely popular in Japan due to its softness and good ability to cleanse thoroughly. First, I was sceptical about how a bubbling foam texture would be able to remove makeup (even the waterproof ones), for God's sake, it's mostly air and a little creamy stuff!!! But I was convinced. Okay, this is the first foam cleanser I've tried so far, but I don't particularly fancy Yves Rocher and Japanese skin care is just plain goooooooood (no matter which brand) so that means that any foam cleanser coming from Japan must be faaar better than this and this results in me being a fan of JP foam cleansers!

Now, that I've written down 'foam cleanser' about a billion times, let me introduce you to Yves Rocher's bubbling cleanser (yay) of the Hydra Specifiy line: Soft Foam Cleanser.

Description: "My new makeup removal routine. Soft Foam Cleanser lathers into a creamy foam to clean my skin with mildness. When rinsed, my skin is supple, sparkling and ready for facial care. Spray 150 ml / 5.0 fl oz.

The US site also has a little how-to guide:

Deposit a dollop of foam onto a cotton pad or into the palm of your hand. (1min)

Apply evenly over a damp face, using light massaging movements. (1min)

Rinse with water, then gently dry skin. (1min)

Does it cleanse? Oh yes, it does! Quite well! The only thing that needs a second thorough rubbing is waterproof mascara. Anything else is removed without trace, my skin is left squeaky clean. I would say the only drawback is that it cleanses too well: it strips my skin of everything and thus dries it out. During summer it wouldn't be much of a problem, but now that it's winter.....I don't like scratching my face all day long because no heavy facecream can penetrate deep enough to make up for the damage this cleaner caused.

All in all, this is a great cleaner for summer time, but I would never recommend it for winter, especially not for those with dry or sensitive skin.
Price wise it's a good catch too, it sells for USD15...but don't forget that Yves Rocher has sales ALL the time, so it costs even less ;)

Lierac

Oh, a new post! I haven't posted for ages, but here I am, with a long overdue review. And by long I mean loooong. Something I bought last December. *cough*yes, last year*cough*
I'm planning on catching up with the reviews...

I'm way too lazy to write about each product in a separate post so I just do it all at once.

As you can see they are a scrub and a decollete product.

Lierac Microabrasion Stimulating Smoothing Cream

Description: Drawing inspiration from the cosmetic technique of micro-abrasion, MICRO-ABRASION Stimulating smoothing cream helps deliver “brand-new skin” in just 2 minutes! This cream works to exfoliate the skin deep-down and prevent and correct the appearance of visible signs of skin aging (loss of radiance and tonicity, fine lines, dehydration).

Results are visible from the very first session: skin feels smoother, toned and moisturized; the skin’s texture appears more refined, the complexion more radiant and fine lines diminished.
How to use: Apply MICRO-ABRASION Stimulating smoothing cream once or twice a week to dampened skin on the entire face and décolleté, then massage delicately in small circular motions for 2 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly.

I love this scrub! It's harsh enough for my liking yet it's soft enough not to hurt my skin. It has alumina crystals. I think fine sand must be like this. However, I never experienced real sand from the seashore >.<
The scrubbing particles don't melt away, you can exfoliate with it thoroughly. As for the result, I'd say it's quite good, but it leaves my skin....I don't know the right word. Can't describe it. After usage my skin is not stripped of moisture, not at all but isn't as smooth as when I use my other favourite, Angels on bare skin from Lush either. I think it's because Lierac's doesn't contain moisturizing/softening ingredients....?

I always hated chemistry but I don't see anything on the ingredients list that would help smoothing. Correct me, if I'm wrong. ^^ Should it be urea? If it should then it doesn't work for me, at least not thaaaaat well. "Thaaaat well", becoz it doesn't dry me out.... Maybe I have too high expectations.

The squeeze tube which is easy to squeeze (but decently firm too) dispenses quite well (no spurting or playing for hours, you control the amount you want to use....I'd say every single brand should use this tube it's so good!) and holds 50ml of product.
The price? Dunno...I bought mine during a 60% off sale and those damned dept.stores here don't carry this brand anymore....WTF?! Thanks to the internet it's around 38$ or 22 euro. More or less.

Lierac Phytrell Bust firmer gel

Description: Intended for minor skin slackening problems, responsible for a sagging bust, this formula contains 14.8% of the plant complex (alchemilla, ivy, horsetail, agrimony and sage) to help reactivate collagen and elastin production in order to effectively fight against skin slackening and to help restore shapelier breasts.
How to use: Apply regularly twice a day to the breasts and the bust, massaging gently in circular motions.  Use for 6 to 8 weeks.

Now, I'll be super fast writing about this gel since I don't have much to say about it.
It's good.
Not like I had sagged decollecte and this gel worked miracle pulling it into a baby's soft skin.....but my skin is dry in general and hates alll kind of body moisturizers. Thus this acts as a kind of moisture replenishment (I know it's not!) and my bust really does feel firmer and softer!^^
The paper note included in the box also mentioned that it's good for preventing those dark patches caused by ageing. Well, due to my age I'm unable to comment on this matter. :)

As you can see from the ingredients shots, neither products are paraben-free.
The price? Again, I'm not sure....I got mine for no more than 15 dollars during the sale, and the prices I see on the net are USD 38 and up.
