Worst cleansing oil ever!

Yes, I met the worst cleansing oil ever: The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil.

It exist. I never would have belived that a cleansing oil could be so horrible that I'd wish it had never been made. 

I don't even bother to make photos, the stock photo is enough to show you what to stay away from.

Description: "A fresh cleansing oil for oily skin, cleansing thick makeup and impurities with light touch (contains natural rice bran ingredients, mineral oil free)"

Well, by now we all know how cleansing oils work. You pump some into your palm, massage it onto your

dry face, then you add a little water to emulsify it. Massage it a bit more, then rinse it with water. 

The texture of the oil is either thick or lighter, but when emulsified it gets more runny.

Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil on the other hand works the opposit way. It's runny when put on skin and becomes tick and sticky when added some water.

I think it's due to its runny texture that it gets into my nose and mouth (even though I keep it closed!!!) and I have to taste it all the time! bleah~ It does not taste good let me tell you...

The Face Shop claims that this oil removes thick makeup. LIE! It's unable to remove everyday BB creams and light makeup! The towel itself removed more foundation than the oil itself! Horrible! I had to follow up with other cleansers, like foaming or creams to get all makeup and impurities off my skin.

Not to mention it leaves behind an oily residue that also requires other cleansers to remove.

The scent is pleasant however, and the design of the bottle is pretty. I kept it for further usage.

The bottle holds 150ml of cleansing oil and sells around 13-14 USD on ebay.

I say, stay away from The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil! Save your money and spend it on better products!

Big news & HG sheet mask

I have big, great, life changing (at least for me) news, but ain't share them for a while BWAHAHAHHAHA

Well, nothing is 100% sure yet, nor signed (oops..a hint) but everything is on track!

Today was a veeery fruitful day, and I'm feeling high, so I decided to finally write a review...or raving..whatever.

I have so many things to write about, yet school and the aforementioned change drains me. Right now I'm typing with eyes shut too HAHAH

Hope to reveal the secret soon, but until then, I'm gonna bath in my new find: The Face Shop Essential Mask Sheet (Pearl) which upgraded to Holy Grail status after the very first usage! HAH

So far I thought nothing could beat My Beauty Diary masks....I was wrong!

The Face Shop site says it's to brighten skin. Well, thanks for a tremendous amount of info!

In the end it doesn't matter that the site gives no information. Once you try this mask, you won't need any words! Katelyn (or Chomifi) also did a review about this product, do see what she tought!

I regret not trying this out sooner!

When first opening the sachet it spurted liquid on me....I thought it sucked. The cloth dripped wet. Literally. I had to be fast putting it on! And there was a "pool" of liquid left in the sachet that I used on my neck, hands and arms(!) too. I was drowning in it HAHA

It makes skin well hydrated and smooth as a baby's! I couldn't stop touching myself! (no dirty thoughts, okay?!)

Remember my last "no foundation" FOTD? That look was done right after using this pearl mask! Thus I have to say, it does brighten skin, as I usually have an unhealthy, sick skintone, but not on the photo! I'm impressed!

The Essential Pearl Mask Sheet is cheap....no matter where you look, so give it a try!

And the scent! OMG The scent! You know my nose is useless, but I do know it's an awesome fragrance I could sniff till the end of my life. Powdery and dreamy, and calming, inspiring, sweet and floral....arrgh

Buy it and tell what you feel, how it smells to you!

The Face Shop Nutri Life C Mask Sheet

As I have nothing better to do (being freshly operated HEHE) I present you The Face Shop's Nutri-Life C sheet masks!

I wanted to show before-after photos, but I realized my face looks like a zombie's without foundation. Yellowish dark skin around eyes, had some giant cystic acnes and usual discoloration. It was way too shocking to infect the net with it XDD

So, all left is my word.

Brightens skin tone and scavenges free radicals to fight aging.

If you know MBD masks, this Face Shop sachet is much bigger in size, almost twice as big. They should fold the mask sheet a bit more....

The cloth is dripping liquid, that absorbs well, I left it on for 20 or 30 minutes, until my skin sucked in every last bit of moisture from the mask. In the sachet there's always some liquid left, and I put it on my neck and hands. mmmm

The scent is incredible! Strawberry! So nice~

After using Nutri-Life my skin feels moisturized and looks a bit brighter. But to tell the truth, not as bright as after My Beauty Diary's Bulgarian White Rose.

Anti-aging? Well, I dunno. As these sheet masks are supposed to be used daily for weeks or for (a) month(s) you may see results after long usage.

A box of Nutri-Life C (5 pieces) goes for $15 or so, depending on where you buy.

I'd say, this isn't a bad product, but I'd vote for MBD!
