Max Factor Vibrant Curve Effect Lip Gloss

I'm super late with this review too, but here it is. Max Factor Vibrant Curve Effect Lipgloss.
Many have written about it, like Tavia did before, so click for comparison.

"Hot from backstage and tested by our top fashion make-up artists it’s curvy applicator hugs your lips for a fuller, more curvaceous look. With its high shine, non-sticky formula and 10 new irresistible on trend shades to try there’s no excuse to fade into the background."

Strolling by the shelves, the glosses call out to me with their vibrant colors and just who can resist such yummy-looking glosses?
I went for a "safe" color and chose 09 Sophisticated.

Love the slanted, curvy sponge applicator. It's quite nice and easy to apply with, but hardly gets enough product out of the tube, yet the gloss pumps out and slides down on the outside of the case. Nasty.

While intense and beautiful in the tube the color fades on lips. It becomes more like a shimmery clear gloss hinted with a little tint. You just can't pile up enough to get a decent color....not to mention THE color you were promised with. Here is the excuse to fade into the background....

The result you'll see on your lips is the lower half of the swatches.
Another Max Factor product to disappoint me.
