I reached 100 posts! wooot!
This is my 101st post, isn't it great? Okay, it might be nothing compared to other's 1000 or more, but certainly means a lot to me, as I'm new to beauty blogging! ^.^
Gives me strength LOL
So, driven by the high of 100 posts, I decided to hold a giveaway!
The bad news is that this giveaway will happen only when I reach 200 posts or 50 followers! Whichever comes first. Sorry!
These numbers are my current goals, but I'm a jobless college student munching on her last pennies LOL What did you expect?
Before you give up all hope for me, let me show you what my humble self happened to win on Tavia's giveaway over at Chic Profile!
A travel size Nivea hair mousse (have you tried their revamped hair styling stuffs? I love their fruity smell! ^.^), a L'oreal Cashmere Perfect liquid foundation, a Vichy Rehydrating Thermal mask and a lovely bracelet! This bracelet reminds me of MUFE's spring collection!
Thank you so much Tavia! ^.^ Luv ya! <3
Do you girls know her site? If not, then it's time to start stalking her! ;D But do talk to her eventually! She's really sweet and always replies! There are some super popular bloggers out there who don't reply to ever single comment, sadly.....But dear Tavia does!
I haven't tried everything yet, but the Vichy mask was immediately on my face after opening the package! LOL
Reviews will follow of course!
And now, a proper review: Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller
You know, that fun roller to fight undereye puffiness and dark circles!
It has pretty bad reviews over the net, but ever since it was released I wanted one. The roll-on thing being the culprit, of course! ^_^;
What it claims:
In 1 Week: Under-eye puffiness is reduced and women saw dark circles diminished. With Continued Use: The severity of puffiness is further reduced and dark circles stay minimized.
Features:
Eye roll-on applicator stimulates micro-circulation
Caffeine - Decongests puffiness & diminishes dark circles
Pro-Vitamin B5 - Refreshes & hydrates the delicate eye area
Diminishes dark circles
Clinically tested and reviewed by dermatologists and nutritionists.
Now, let me tell you, it does none of the above! Not one thing! Nothing!
Luckily I hardly ever have puffed eyes (as I tend to sleep 10 hours ROFL), so I don't know if it does anything to puffiness, but my horrible, unhealthy looking circles stayed in place.
I've been using it for 2 months (morning and evening), but nothing happened.
The procedure is fun! Rolling and circling and all, and the little metal ball is always pleasantly cold, even tho I don't store it in the fridge.
It gives enough moisture to the delicate under-eye area, but it's nothing special. Just enough to avoid flaky, dry skin going wrinkly.
The amount is 15 ml (0.5 oz) which is quite a lot, considering I've been using it for more than 2 months and only 1/4 of it is gone! When will I finish it? HAHA
It costs about $10, which is pricey for something that DOES NOTHING!
I got mine when it was on sale for 8 or 8.5 USD, but I wouldn't repurchase it.
It's fun to use it, yet totally worthless.
