Shu Uemura's fall and winter collection is not something you'd expect with those vibrant yellow and blue colors, right? But looking at the model, it says 'it's the quiet, sleeping time of nature but i still carry the freshness, life that will bloom next spring'. At least that's what it says to me.
Painting liner ($24)
Primal Color Stick ($30)
New eye shadow sticks have a creamy texture that dries to a powdery finish. The formula glides on easily allowing for smooth application and blendability on the eyelids. The unique slant cut tip of the color stick enables precise control of application and the twist-top packaging makes it easy to apply color on the go.
I'm not a fan of stick eyeshadows. Rather, I don't like them at all. This comes in 4 shades:
gold, brown, green and purple
Not something i'd pick from this wide range....
Primal Mix Blush ($24)
Duo-color blush palette combines fresh, soft shades that add a healthy, warm and natural glow to the skin. The unique color combination can be blended and applied to the face in one stroke or used as individual shades for further accents.
This comes in 3 shade combination: pink, peach and amber. I'd vote for peach and pink. The one above is amber. This is something I'd like to put my hands on. I'm sure the one on the model is pink. Isn't it beautiful?
Overall, the packaging for this collection is pretty. Not overdone, but funny enough to cast away the depressing feelings of fall.
There is a set of false lashes too, mixing black and vibrant blue, yellow, green and pink.
Also, matching lipsticks are: Rouge Unlimited in shade 296 and 942. Latter is beige with a hint of orange, first one is something rose-brown-burgundy. Can't tell.
Nail colors are a light pink and a stronger shade...like magenta, I think.
