Shu Uemura Depsea Moisture Replenishing Eye Mask & Red:Juvenus Line Release

Shu Uemura Depsea Moisture Replenishing Eye Mask ($45)

First, I'd like to talk about Shu Uemura's Depsea Moisture Replenishing Eye Masks. They are specially made for eyes and I'm in love with them!

Let's see what they claim to do:
A hydrating, fresh sheet mask that intensely moisturizes dehydrated areas of the eye in five minutes. The new shape of the mask perfectly covers the eye contour to significantly minimize the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. Each mask contains Depsea moisture essence for an instant moisture recharge. Depsea water and three seaweed extracts are boosted with hyaluronic acid, caffeine and ruscus root extract to immediately moisturize dehydrated eyes, smooth out fine lines, and diminish signs of fatigue for a healthier look.

A product that actually does what it says!
After thorough cleansing, put it under your eyes and leave there for 5 minutes, then gently pat the remaining moisture into skin. Says the instruction. I left it on for like...10 or 15 minutes? 5 mins is just too short! The pads are so rich with moisture that I had to wipe the remainings out of the sachet and put on my face....couldn't let it go to waste, right? ^__^

It has a cooling effect. After i took it down, my undereye area felt cold and somewhat numb! o_O Actually, it was a good, refreshing feeling...and OMG my fine lines (which have been there from the time I can remember) got filled up! Err..they were barely there! After the very first usage! It didn't last long though...maybe 1 or 2 days. It's definitely for immediate rescue, don't expect a miracle that lasts and lasts and lasts.

Dark circles? Oh, I have 2 decent ones! =D And they became a bit faded. Not entirely, one treatment isn't enough to make them disappear. Sadly.
Depsea.....what is 'depsea'? Is that supposed to be 'deep sea'?
All in all, I have nothing to complain about...I'm totally pleased.

Now onto the news:

Shu uemura launches a breakthrough in skincare technology to prevent first signs of aging such as dull skin, loss of elasticity, and fine lines. red:juvenus is designed to protect against free radicals and vitalize skin cells by enhancing the flow of essential elements for youthful, radiant skin.

Ah, yes! Finally! A shu uemura line for those youths who has their first fine lines and/or wrinkles. This calls for me! Actually I don't have problems with wrinkles...if I use the right moisturizing creams regularly. But the fine lines under my eyes make me go crazy! Is this normal? I'm 23! Shouldn't one start using preventing stuffs around 30? Nevermind.
Red:juvenus consists 5 products which are:
  • VITALIZING REFINING LOTION ($40)
  • INTENSE VITALIZING CONCENTRATE ($85)
  • VITALIZING RETEXTURING EMULSION ($75)
  • VITALIZING RETEXTURING CREAM ($75)
  • VITALIZING LINE REDUCING EYE ESSENCE ($65)

Nah, they are pricey. Okay, not THAT pricey, but definitely a no-no for my college budget. HAHA Do they worth the money? I really hope so! I'm planning on investing on the concentrate and maybe the eye essence too in the future. Better going against time now than waiting and fighting full spread wrinkles. Yuck.

Oh, and now shu uemura website offers complimentary shipping for any red:juvenate product! No promo code needed! =D
