Urban Decay, YSL, Prada lippie swatches + extra silliness

Here are the promised swatches to the lippies from my previous post. I promised, right? Sometimes I do keep my words! LOL
Now I don't include photos of the mini lipsticks (they are super cute), click if you want to see them.

From left to right: Urban Decay (Sellout), YSL, Prada Shielding balm

Lipswatch of Urban Decay - Sellout:

Got sheered out, sorry!
The formula is non drying and last quite well. It drags a bit my chapped lips, but once on it's quite comfortable. It has a typical lipstick scent. Not flower or sweet scented like some brands.

YSL lipswatch:

It's a Pure Shine lippie, but I don't know the shade. It's not written on the tube =.=
The color is a beautiful rose/berry topped with golden shine! You can see it on the photo!  I'm so glad I was able to catch it!

It glides on like butter, also non-drying and has a pleasant fruity smell, But I can't determine what fruit, for the life of mine!

Sorry for not providing lipswatch for the Prada one. It's such a tiny sample that I try to save up every nano-ml! LOL I don't even know if the makeup line of Prada is available here @_@
It has sun protection (SPF15) which is niiiiiiice~
The cream is thick, looks like chocolate cream, but matte and has a minty fresh but sweet scent.
It gives pouty lips. And doesn't feel sticky either.

If it turns out the only store that carries brands Like Bobbi Brown and Giorgio Armani has Prada too......and I happen to win a lottery (normally I wouldn't spend as much for a lip balm like I guess this might) I'm sooo gonna snatch a few of this balm!

Have I mentioned that Hungary finally left behind prehistoric times, and we do can buy Bobbi Brown and Giorgio Armani makeup? Yep. Only one department store has them in the whole country. And it's the most expensive place of all. If you don't want to run away crying seeing the price tags, you don't go near that place! Devil's lair! I've only been there 6 or 7 years ago with my high-school class.Thank God I didn't bother with the prices back then....we just enjoyed prettiness and how there was two buildings and we could get lost LOL

Oh, we were such innocent kids...not like nowaday's teens!

Sadly I never visit that part of the capital T_T

If they ever bring in Illamasqua, Urban Decay or any Japanese brands except Shiseido and Kanebo, I'm gonna fork out the super expensive local transportation fares and spend there a week, snapping photos crazily! HAHAHAHAHA

And now!

Love package from Jacqueline~ and FOTD

After the previous embarrassing post here is something much better:

A love package from Jacqueline! Again, I love you so much! <3 Thanks!
The main point of the mail was the Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheers she reviewed and I was lemming. They look so good!

She gave me samples of 3 shades, plus a Clinique bronzer, in contact lens cases =)

And in addition she put in two mini lipsticks: a YSL and an Urban Decay!!!! Wow my very first encounter with UD! Oh, and a cute mini Prada lip balm sample!
I'll show swatches of the lippies in my next post.....need material to blog about LOL

Aren't those mini lipsticks CUTE???

Now, here are the swaches of the 3 Fluid Sheer and 1 Clinique bronzer:

For comparison, check out Jacqueline's swatches too!

And one more pic:

And finally a FOTD....this isn't today's, but features 2 of the Fluid sheers HEHE
My eyes are a bit worn off, as the photo wasn't taken afresh, but after several hours....a painful meeting with the dentist and helping Mom to install the new PC and other hardwares at her office. Not much luck XD

MAC Studio Finish Concealer NW25
Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer - 11 Amber, and 2 Shimmering Beige (for highlighting)

Dior 1 Couleur Powder Mono Eyeshadow & package from Jacqueline

Christian Dior 1 Couleur Powder Mono Eyeshadow. Before reading on, make note that the eyeshadow I'm reviewing is not the latest one! Beat me, but I can't remember what year this was released! This is a very big favourite of mine, that's why I'm writing this. Whether you want to read about old stuffs or not! LOL I'm evil and egoistic, I know!
I Couleur is in the shade of: Peach! Wait, I have a story!
Many years ago I was watching TV...some fashion channel, showing new makeups and tricks. It must have been my late elementary years. And then, at that holy moment I saw a beautiful eyeshadow! It was a TRUE peachy peach, with a hint of baby pink! *__*
I can't really describe, but the color payoff was strong, and it was soooooooooo beautiful and vibrant! I fell in love instantly! The worst part is I have NO idea what brand it was! *cries*

So, ever since then I've been in an endless search for that color. And this eyeshadow is the closest I could find.....although this is no match, truth to be told, thid doesn't even look like peach on skin, but I love it nevertheless!
As I've seen, this shade is discontinued. I'm not sure, but I couldn't find it on the Dior site. Bah....must be my stupidity too!
Anyway, here are my thoughts:
Old, as you can see, packaging is old but pretty. Can't be anything less, since it's Dior =D
The color is somewhere between orange, beige and peach, also has golden shimmers. It goes on smoothly, covers skin evenly and does not crease or fade. Oh, wait, it did crease on me in the summer heat, but when the weather is not that humid, it stays on pretty well.
Just a side note: I do not wear primer. So if you do, I bet this would stick to you like glue all day long!

Here is a swatch. Can you see it? It's in the middle. Forgive my crappy photo skills, I couldn't capture the color. It's much, much more vivid! Also, the lighting is horrible here (in my dorm room).

For slightly better view here is a look I made using this eyeshadow not long ago.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

I got a package from Jacqueline Yesterday, including all these yummies:

2 MAC Lipglasses
1 MAC Lustreglass
1 Maquillage lipgloss + 1 lipstick
The Body Shop Eyeshadow (an awesome blue!)
YSL Matt Touch Compact Foundation sample
RMK samples
Vichy Normaderm Refine sample (hey, this is Asia exclusive, I think, so must work for my pores too HAHA)
Kiehl's Abyssine Cream+ sample (I've always wanted to try this)
Aren't they awesome??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?
I can't say enough, you shouldn't have had to put in sooo many (precious) extras! You're too generous! I LOVE you! *.* Thank you!
Jacqueline is such an awesome woman!!! She needs more love, so check out her blog!

Here is another pic, to show better the colors >.<"

Why, oh why are some of my pictures are clickable, and some are not????? I did not resize them, or anything! grrrrrr

Kose Esprique Precious Liquid Eyecolor Stylish

Another type of make-up product I'm not a fan of, but still ended buying....2 of it. A blue and a golden one. I've run out of my previous glitterish blue/silver+gold shadows. One I had to dispose coz it was too old *sniff*
Well, the whole color range is seen above, but mostly the 4 shades below can be found.

I got mines from Bobodave. I guess. My mind tends to fail me.....It costs $23 there and they carry each color! YAY

I wore 2 looks this week, both with the same color. First is the most simple. Only the golden shade on my lids.

Close up without flash in natural light.

No primer, just Esprique Precious (GD002), Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes 0L and Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara.

With flash.

Under eye it's the gold from YSL Opium Legendes de Chine.

I said I don't like liquid eyeshadows. I had horrible experiences before. Those I tried creased like hell and wouldn't blend...blotches here and there. Yikes.

But this one from Kose performes well. No blotchiness, no creasing in the summer heat. It's perfect for my taste. The applicator is the same sponge end like on lipglosses, and I can handle it without making mistakes.

And now the other look:
I was a bit worried how Precious would perform, since there was a base shadow appiled under. Would it blur the base ending with my blobby eyelids? No, it was ok.
Well, you can see the finished look. The base color is the deep purple/plum from YSL Opium Legendes de Chine above the lashes. See it got a bit drawn upwards with the liquid color?

Eyeliner on my upper lids is Kanebo Kate Gel Eye Liner (BK-1), on the lower waterline it's MUFE 0L. The lower lids have an all over streak of gold from the YSL palette from above, topped with pink in the inner side and I put a bit of purple to the outer part too. I hope this explanation made some sense =DDD

Actually I like this one better than the first look.

YSL Opium Legends De Chine Powder for the Eyes & Complexion

Well, I happened to buy this little cute powder on ebay for $10! If I know well it retails for $67...? Anyway, I made a great deal and that's the point. The paper box is the same brown as the parfume's and inside there's the deep purple pouch holding the powder, a mini blush brush and a two end applicator. I have noting bad to say about their quality.

The powder: the case is beutiful *.* Is that a phoenix? Hmm Dunno, but must be something from the Chinese mithology.

The inside with flash.
I'm not sure why there is that red spot in the pink part, but it doesn't strike any redness when applied, so it must be neccessary...I use the purple stripe only on my eyes, while the pink and beige/golden goes on eyes and/or face. Aren't those sprakling particles pretty?

A close up without flash.

Pink goes on my cheeks and the beige/gold is for contouring, but sometimes I put it on my apples for a more natural glow.

Swatches with flash.
Compared to the golden and pink, purple/plum (or now here brown) looks ugly...that's why I only use it on my lashline or the outer V of my eyelids.

Swatches without flash.

Here the pink shows up better but looks rather white =DD It's great for highlighting.
This powder was a limited edition, so it can't be found anymore (at least I didn't see it) by the counters, but ebay and other online stores still carry it. Opium is a legendary parfume and this palette does a good job holding the name. Lives up to the fame, and wearing together with the parfume is a 'boom' =DD
Also, the staying power is exellent and that's a must IMHO. Would be a shame if it'd crease shortly.....I didn't have creasing after several hours. So far I only wore it for 4 or 6 hours most. But in extreme heat and I did sweat a lot. hah Sorry!

That's it...I'll take good care of this lil babe!
