After the stressful work some leisure time...

Just a short post stating I'm still alive and am definitely going to start posting again soon! :)

After a killing period at work I was able to spend some quality time with a good friend of mine, sailing on the Balaton....

*click on it to enlarge....yumm*

And forever-best-Georgina visited HK a while ago and helped me get some things I've been lusting after...
Some of them were part of the hated Sasa order. BTW, Sasa.com deleted my order on their own since I didn't provide the data they wanted...how nice of them....

Blogger.com keeps on rotating my pics no matter how many times and with what programs I save the photos in the desired direction...WTF
Anyhow, you can see clearly what's on them, just click:

  • MUFE Aqua Smoky Lash mascara 2x
  • MUFE Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector (color nr 0)
  • Naris Wink Up Maxigrade mascara
  • Kiss Me Heroine Make Volume & Curl mascara
  • Hada Labo Hyaluronic acid lotion
  • extra masks
Now I'm feeling pampered! ^.^

Thank you again, Georgina! Love ya! <3

Schaebens Schoko Mask & FOTD

Here is the review for Schaebens Schoko Maske I mentioned in a previous post. Yes, it's chocolate! Milk chocolate and edible....>_<
If you're German or from Europe with Müller drugstores near by, you definitely can find this and it's about $1.5! Other countries, I'm not sure, but I bet chocolate masks are available everywhere. Not only in spas and beauty salons.

The delicious milk chocolate mask pampers and nourishes your skin in the most pleasant way. The result: your skin feels softer, smoother, and more relaxed after just a short period of use. In addition, the scent of cacao beans beguiles your senses, providing an intensively pleasant sense of well-being and increasing feelings of pleasure and delight. A pleasant side effect: its chocolate not only nourishes the skin, but also tastes delicious.

Well, it's chocolate so let's start with tearing open the sachet. It required more squeezing to get it out. The texture is not creamy, rather like gel, like pudding. Ok, I know pudding is different in different countries but that's what this reminds me of. Chocolate pudding =D You can see it on my palm below. It's a bit blurred...I have no photography skills.

Before application I tasted it and OMG It's sooooooo yummy! I was considering eating it, not leaving anything. But...it would have been a bit too much and being milk chocolate, only 3 or 4 licked gulp made me sufficed. Sweeeeeeet!

So, I applied, left on for 15-20 minutes and washed off. It promises to pamper my skin. Well, it pampers like any other mask. Nourishes? I bet it does, it is chocolate! We all know cocoa has several benefaction. The most eye catching result was the smooth skin. I was pretty happy with it!
The sachet is enough for 2 or 3 applications depending on the amount you use. And for the price this is a really good deal. I encourage you to go and look for any chocolate mask you can find. It's great for weekly/average usage.

Ingredients: Glucose syrup, water, whole milk chocolate (sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa, cocoa butter, low-fat cocoa powder, lactose, sweet whey powder, emulsifier soy lecithin, vanillin), sugar, hydrogenated vegetable oil, thickening agents sodium alginate and carrageen, emulsifier E 472c, preservative potassium sorbate, sequestrant calcium chloride, salt.

And here is my first FOTD.

Used this mask today too, then did my makeup. It's nothing special, since it's weekend and I only went out for shopping to prevent starvation =D

Be prepared......................

Forgive my hair, it was loosely blown dried and the right bangs put out of my face. That's how I look without using flat irons.

And inspired by Daituf's trying to smile, I did one too.

See, I'm evil! HAHA And my eyes are so not the same size....@_@

Things I used:

Everyday Minerals matte base in Soft Butter Peach

Everyday Minerals concealer in Intensive Fair

Everyday Minerals blush in New Car Smell

Vichy Normateint Anti-imperfection Foundation in 25-nude

L'Oreal Accords Naturels Trio for blondes

MUFE Aqua Eyes 0L

Oriflame Wonder Lash mascara (cheapo)

and bare lips

Cheapo mini hauls

For last weekend a friend of mine planned a beauty hunting trip, but of course it never happened. And here I was waiting for lemming the Shiseido, YLS and Guerlain counters. Oh well...
Since it's the beginning of term, I have like nothing left on my bank account, but I still went for a little shopping, buying only cheap stuffs.

First: a chocolate face mask. Hmm sounds good! It cost only $1.5....there was golden mask too, but I ended up with this, since it's edible! *cough*
There is a Bourjois Paris Sparkling Eyeliner too (Regard Pailleté, I think). I'll do a review for this.
Have anyone tasted this bubbling Granini with apple and cranberries? It's horrible! #_#

And some other: L'Oreal Nutri Bronze (self-tanning) Body Lotion, Helia-D body lotion for dry skin, two Essence sheet masks, two nail polishes and an Essence Lip Oil. Sheet masks and lip oil were 1.5USD each, polishes about $2. Lotions about $10. Most of these will get their own reviews too. Dirt cheap stuffs worth a blog entry, right? At least to say how crappy they are >_>

MY BEAUTY DIARY Bulgarian White Rose Mask

"My Beauty Diary" provides a wide selection of masks to suit different skin texture needs in different seasons.
This selection aims at restoring a delicate, young and fair look to skin. With meticulous care this mask selection provides, your beauty diary is sure to be recorded with improved looks day after day!

Bulgarian White Rose Mask

Main ingredients:
- Bulgarian Rose Hydrosol: soothes, refreshes and moisturizes.
- Licorice, kiwi: whitens skin.
- Aloe, cucumber: calms and soothes skin; moisturizes.

Appeals/ Characteristics:
- Offers radiance with translucent, glowing look of skin by its softening effect.
- Moisturizing, soothing, firming.
- For normal skin, especially recommended for dull skin lacking radiance.

My very first try with these sheet masks and I am quite pleased with the results. It was a bit funny to put on the cloth, the holes for the eyes were a bit small for me. Should have been wider.
It's supposed to stay on for 20-30 minutes, but the mask is so rich and full of moisture that I kept it on for like 40. The remainig "cream" went on my neck and arms.

It's ideal for normal skin, but my dry&sensitive skin loved it. Became deeply hydrated and not that soft-surface, dried-deep-skin that some other masks provide. Now I have this healthy looking, tight skin that I love to bits. It evened out my skintone too! woot!
As for whitening...I doubt it did anything. I can't see it. Maybe using it for a while will show some positive results. More glowing skin at least. Hey, it was the first try!

I was a bit afraid of the rose smell...usually I get a headache from the overhelming scents. Thankfully it's pretty good. Not that too strong rose oil odor.

I got mine from ebay. Only 2 sheets since I only wanted to test it, not wanting to throw out my money for something that later proves to be bad/useless. A box (10 pieces) can be found less than $20...I've seen it for 15 or so too. Which is a great deal in my opinion!
